Hi, so I'm alive!

It's 5 in the morning, and I've been up for nearly two hours. Can't sleep. Even with two AC's running, it's still quite warm in this tropical "paradise" I call home. It's even harder to sleep than usual because my head is just going and going.

I really hate it when
1) I spend hours wrestling with a site's CSS to get it to display the way I want only to realize that
2) it's impossible because CSS is stupid
3) and I give up and go to bed and, as I'm about to drift off to sleep, I get this "EUREKA!" flash and realize "Well, of COURSE that won't work! But if you move this div to there and layer this div to that, voila!"
4) and I scramble up and do it
5) AND IT WORKS
6) and then I decide I hate it and *insert alternative layout* works better.

(I hate floats. And my blockquote refuses to do what I tell it to. If I could beat it senseless, I would.)

Haha, THAT'S SO TRUE! Happens to me all the time. The worst feeling ever is finishing a layout and then after 5 minutes realizing that after all the hard work and banging of your head against the desk you don't like it!

That's the problem with working on a layout too much! You're tired of it before it even goes up.

I get the best ideas for sites and also cravings to work on my sites ...at work, and by the time I get home I'm tired.

Have you ever made a layout that you really liked, and you visit your site for a couple days after uploading it to see how awesome you truly are, and then end up tired of it? I found it best not to visit my site unless I'm updating it.

Me, too! I don't look at my site at all after uploading it and checking for broken stuff. Otherwise, I want to change it ASAP.
